French Lentil & Walnut Breakfast Sandwich

A warm bowl of dal (lentils) bring me back home to India. This breakfast sandwich is my take on that feeling of home wrapped in a home made English muffin and delicious mango chutney.

French Lentil & Walnut Breakfast Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Braised French Lentil & Walnut Tikka Patty
  • 1 English Muffin
  • Chutney of your choice (mango or green mint)
  • Salad greens of your choice
  • Optional Hashbrown patty (for that something extra!)

DIRECTIONS

  • Cook the Braised French Lentil & Walnut patty on skillet on medium heat 7 minutes each side. 
  • Toast the English muffin. Spread your choice of chutney.
  • Layer with your choice of greens and Braised French Lentil & Walnut Tikka Patty.
  • Optionally add a toasted hashbrown patty for a McMuffin effect.

  • Cooking time: 15 minutes
  • Total time: 20 minutes
