Roasted Beet & Walnut Tikka Burger

Inspired from Indian street food, this burger is filled with herby freshness from green mint chutney and coolness from delicious yogurt sauce, complimented by peppery arugula. Complement with roasted sweet potato fries for a blast of color and flavor. 

Roasted Beet & Walnut Tikka Burger

INGREDIENTS

For the Burger

  • 1 Roasted Beet & Walnut Tikka Patty

For the Green Mint Chutney

  • 1 Bunch Mint
  • 1 Bunch Cilantro
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Chopped Ginger
  • 1 Serrano Chili Chopped (optional)
  • Salt to taste 

For the Yogurt Sauce

  • 1/4 yogurt of choice
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

DIRECTIONS

  • Blend all the ingredients for the Green Mint Chutney in a blender till smooth.
  • In a bowl mix all the ingredients for the yogurt sauce till smooth.
  • Cook the Beet & Walnut Tikka patty on skillet on medium heat 7 minutes each side. 
  • On burger bun of your choice, spread the mint chutney on one slice and the yogurt sauce on the other slice. Layer with your choice of greens. Add the Beet & Walnut Tikka Patty.
  • Serve with side of sweet potato fries.
